For ten days, Drifts explored the theme “Unmapping Futures” to map out a plurality of futures. Unmapping Futures opened up social spheres with 33 local and international practitioners to dialogue on current socio-political and ecological challenges and actionable futures through film screenings, performances, lectures, workshops, and exhibitions. In addition, we organized a pop-up gallery: P2P(Peer to Peer), to introduce various literature and books created by emerging artists, designers, and independent publishers. Drifts contributed to building a temporary post-national community with diverse local/international participants through the festival’s public events and exhibitions in Kontula.
