Mountainbuilding
In Mountainbuilding the movements of the mountain and the body meet, and human perception encounters processes that operate beyond our understanding of consciousness, time and existence. Over the course of three hours, Anna Pehrsson with dancers Ulrika Berg and Hana Erdman, and with music by Shida Shahabi and Hampus Norén shape a landscape of movement and stillness, where the present interacts with the primordial, and the ephemeral is enveloped by the geologically slow.
Mountainbuilding is a tender contemplation on the horizons of the human, the erosions of time, and the being of the mountain in the world.
