Awareness
Drifts Festival creates an open space for diverse dialogue, critique, and exchange. We believe meaningful interaction begins with being aware of how our words and actions affect others.
We encourage everyone involved to care for one another, take responsibility for their words and behaviour, and strive to do better when mistakes occur, through mutual respect and care.
Drifts is committed to being a space where any form of discrimination and harassment are not accepted. This includes racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, age discrimination, classism, body shaming, or behaviour that belittles or harms others. We are committed to fostering a safer environment for everyone regardless of background, identity, or position.
If you experience or witness an unsafe situation during the festival, please contact the Drifts team. On site, you can approach staff members at the information desk or contact us directly or anonymously through the online contact form or at support@drifts.art . We address each situation individually and aim to respond to concerns with respect, care, and responsibility.
